Dr. LaCap completed her Aesthetic Advantage Certification at NYU and then earned her D.D.S. degree from the Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. Afterward, she completed her residency at Englewood Hospital and received additional advanced training in specialty topics like orthodontics, endodontics, periodontal therapy, restorative dentistry, cosmetic procedures, dental implants, and patient management.
She continues to stay on top of the latest developments in technology and techniques through participation in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the American Academy of General Dentistry, among others, and is a preferred Invisalign provider.
Dr. LaCap has always carried a desire to help the community near Sparkill and takes pride in improving people’s lives by enhancing their dental health. Becoming a dentist allowed her to meet her professional goals while maintaining enough life balance to raise her own family, too. She and Dr. Tong initially met in dental school as lab partners. Since then, they have worked together for 28 years and have five children. On top of participating in professional organizations, he has received several prestigious awards, including the Excellence in Restorative Dentistry Aware presented by Columbia University.
In addition to guiding still-developing smiles and providing world-class dental care near Sparkill, he enjoys educating children outside the walls of the office by regularly speaking at elementary schools to teach children the importance of their oral health and how to protect their teeth and gums.
